Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Purpose
This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be provided for tuition and other fees at Ideal Public School. It aims to provide clarity and fairness for all students, parents, and guardians.
2. Enrollment Cancellation
- Before School Year Starts: If a student’s enrollment is canceled before the start of the school year, a full refund of any paid tuition fees will be provided, minus any non-refundable application or registration fees.
- After School Year Starts: If a student’s enrollment is canceled after the start of the school year, the refund will be prorated based on the number of days the student attended classes, minus any non-refundable fees.
3. Withdrawal During the School Year
- Voluntary Withdrawal: If a student voluntarily withdraws from the school during the school year, a prorated refund of the tuition fees will be provided based on the number of days the student attended classes. No refunds will be provided for withdrawal after the midpoint of the school year.
- Involuntary Withdrawal: In the case of an involuntary withdrawal due to disciplinary action, no refund will be provided for the remaining portion of the school year.
4. Special Circumstances
- Medical Reasons: If a student is unable to continue attending school due to serious medical reasons, a prorated refund of the tuition fees will be provided based on the number of days attended, upon submission of a medical certificate.
- Relocation: If a student’s family relocates to a different city or country, a prorated refund of the tuition fees will be provided based on the number of days attended.
5. Refund Process
- Request Submission: To request a refund, parents/guardians must submit a written request to the school administration, specifying the reason for cancellation or withdrawal.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written request. Any refunds will be made via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Application fees, registration fees, and other non-refundable fees will not be included in the refund.
6. Fee Adjustments
- Program Changes: If a student switches programs or courses mid-year, any additional fees incurred will be billed separately. If the new program or course costs less, a prorated refund of the difference will be provided.
- School Closure: In the unlikely event that Ideal Public School closes, prorated refunds will be provided for the remaining portion of the school year.
